Mõni aeg tagasi liikus blogides ringi nimekiri raamatutest, mida paljud lõpetada ei suutnud. Vaatasin minagi seda ja pidin üllatusega tõdema, et kuigi end lugejaks pean, olen siiani vist mingeid “valesid” raamatuid lugenud. Kuidagi väga hõredalt sai neid loetuid. Samas… siin riiulitel ootab tollest nimekirjast peaaegu 30 lugemata või pooleli jäänud raamatut oma järge. Pluss mõni selline, mis on poes või raamatukogus silma jäänud, aga kaasa jalutanud veel pole…

Ehk siis:

Siin on 106 raamatut, mida saidil Library Thing on kasutajate poolt kõige rohkem märgitud „mitteloetuks”.

Rasvasena märgi, mis on loetud, kursiivis need, mida alustasid, aga ei suutnud lõpetada, kriipsuta läbi need, mis ei meeldinud ja jooni alla raamatud, mida kindlasti tahad läbi lugeda.

Mina panin kursiivi need ka, mille puhul ei suutnud meenutada, kas olen ainult sirvinud või alustanud või kunagi isegi läbi lugenud. Ja tegelikult võiks ju alla joonida kõik, mis ma olen siia kokku tassinud… eks ikka mõttega, et kunagi loen.
